How to Create and Manage FTP Accounts in cPanel

How to Set Up an FTP Account in cPanel?

1) Sign in to your cPanel account.

2) Navigate to the FTP section.

3) Within the ‘FTP Accounts’ section, complete the required fields as follows:

- Log in: Enter the desired username for the FTP account.
- Domain: Select the specific domain associated with the FTP account.
- Password: Set a password for the FTP account.
- Password (Again): Confirm the password by re-entering it.
- Directory: Optionally specify the directory for the FTP account (use the default if unsure).
- Quota: Define the bandwidth limit for the FTP account, if needed.

4) Click on the “Create FTP Account” button.

Your FTP account has now been successfully created. Here’s how to access it:

1) Utilize an FTP client such as FileZilla.
2) Enter your cPanel hostname in the host field (e.g., aniruddha.whitelabelverse.com).
3) Provide your FTP username followed by your domain name in the username field (e.g., aniruddha@aniruddha.com).
4) Use the default FTP port, which is 21.
5) Enter the specified user's FTP password, then click "Quick Connect."

Now you can transfer files between your Computer and cPanel via FTP.
